Cassano agrees terms with Milan
Sampdoria striker Antonio Cassano has reportedly agreed terms with Milan. This move will be made official during the January transfer window.
According to reports from Sky Sport 24, Cassano will be moving on a full-ownership deal.
Reports suggest Cassano will be earning €3.5 million per season plus bonuses. Sampdoria will also have to pay Real Madrid (Cassano’s former club) approximately €5 million for having sold the striker before his contract expired.
The arbitration panel has determined that Cassano’s contract will not be terminated with Sampdoria, but his wages will be slashed by 50 per cent.
This dispute all started when Antonio Cassano had a argument with Sampdoria president Ricardo Garrone. Garrone said he would never forgive Cassano and wanted him out of the team.
It was also reported Inter were also front runners to sign Cassano, but president Massimo Moratti denied claimed saying his team is strong enough and they do not require his services.
