Birkirkara too good for Hibernians
Birkirkara move to second place in the standings after defeating Hibernians 3-1. Birkirkara and Tarxien now share second spot and are ten points behind leaders Valletta.

Hibernians’s Paul McManus was the first to have an attempt on goal eight minutes into the match, but it was blocked by goalkeeper Michael Fraser.
On the 13thminute, Birkirkara took the lead thanks to Paul Feneck who made no mistake beating goalkeeper Mariio Muscat after receiving a pass from Michael Galea.
Paul Fenech found the net again on the 25thminute to make it 2-0. His shot left no chance for Mario Muscat.
Birkirkara showed they wanted all three points as on the 29thminute Thomas Paris served Emiliano Lattes who then made it 3-0 with his shot beating Muscat.
Birkirkara continued to defend well and prevent Hibernians from getting into the match.
Steve Pisani managed to get a consolation goal for Hibernians on the 80thminute.
