Bad weather cripples English football
Only two matches were played yesterday afternoon as the bad weather in the UK was the factor for match cancelations.
Blackburn played to a 1-1 draw against West Ham. Blackburn who this week had their coach Sam Allardyce fired only could manage a draw with their caretaker manager Steve Kean.
The result was not good for West Ham coach Avram Grant as he is under huge pressure to get some good results to save his job.
In the other match Sunderland defeated Bolton 1-0. This victory moves Sunderland, who are dreaming of European football next season, in the top six.
Sunderland had the match under control with few attempts on goal from Blackburn.
All other matches were postponed due to bad weather, and today’s (Sunday) games are also postponed.
