Floriana walk over Marsaxlokk

Floriana immediately pressed for the first goal and it arrived thanks to Ivan Woods who beat goalkeeper Reuben Gauci on the 22^nd  minute.

Exactly two minutes later Mecerod created his second assist after he headed the ball to Ivan Woods who got his second goal to make it 2-0.

Marsaxlokk tried to get back into the match near the end of the first half with some good attempts from Gareth Sciberras and Martin Deanov.

In the second half Floriana put the match out of reach on the 75^th  minute when Christian Caruana beat goalkeeper Reuben Gauci with his shot from the right.

Marsaxlokk were reduced to ten men after Carlo Mamo received his second yellow card of the match.
