Tarxien only took nine minutes to go ahead. Daniel Ponce De Leon Garcia went on the left flank and hit a stunning shot that ended up in the corner of the net.

The Rainbows doubled the score two minutes later. Ponce De Leon Garcia sent a through ball towards Alex Nilsson and the latter hit a low shot past Argyrs Roppas.

On the 25th minute, Tarxien made the score 3-0. Ponce De Leon Garcia sent a pass towards Alex da Paixao Alves who went past the goalkeeper and placed the ball inside the net.

Nine minutes later, Jesmond Zerafa’s side increased their advantage once more. Da Paixao Alves went through on goal and finished past Roppas.

The Rainbows scored their fifth goal on the 52nd minute. Da Paixao Alves sent a cross towards Ponce de Leon who slotted the ball inside the net.

Pembroke scored a consolation goal on the 62nd minute. Following a chaos in the Tarxien penalty area, Daniane Jawad finished past Philip Schranz.

However, Tarxien re grouped and scored another goal on the 70th minute. Nilsson went on the left side and hit a shot past the Pembroke goalkeeper.

Claudio Daniel Frances scored Tarxien’s seventh goal. The twenty-four year old sent a diagonal shot that ended up inside the net.
