Sunderland no match for Manchester United
Manchester United defeated Sunderland 2-0 today at Old Trafford. This is the 14th victory out of 15 matches for Manchester.
Berbatov scored the two goals for United in the 5th and 57th minute. United could of easily added four or five more goals in the match, but the woodwork and slightly wide shots denied them on a number of occasions.
Roberto Mancini’s Manchester United are still in the hunt for the Premier League title as they defeated Newcastle United 3-1. Newcastle were a stubborn opponent, but City managed to hold on to take home the important three points.
Tottenham moved back into fifth place as they defeated Aston Villa 2-1. Rafael van der vaart was the hero of the day for Tottenham as he scored both goals for the Hotspurs on the 23rd and the 67th minute.
West Ham United defeated Fulham 3-1 to continue on their path out of the relegation zone. This defeat leaves Fulham in the bottom three of the standings.
Wigan defeated Wolves 2-1. This important victory moves Wigan six points out of the relegation zone.
Stoke defeated Blackburn 2-0 while Bolton defeated West Brom 2-0.
