Parma humiliate Juventus

Parma could not have made a better start to 2011 as they defeated Juventus 4-1. This defeat puts a dent in Juventus’s title challenge.

Things got off to a bad start for Juventus as Felipo Melo was sent off on the 17th  minute.

Juventus held on till the 41st  minute when ex-Juventus player Sebastian Giovinco put Parma in front.

Giovinco made it 2-0 on the 48th  minute when he made no mistake after receiving a pass from Francesco Valiani.

Juventus got back into the match on the 60th  minute when Alberto Aquilana’s cross was headed in by Nicola Legrottaglie.

Just two minutes later on the 62nd  minute, Parma were awarded a penalty after Chiellini committed a foul on Crespo. Crespo had no problem beating Juventus keeper Marco Storaci to make it 3-1.

In added time Parma added more misery to Juventus thanks to Raffaele Palladino. Palladino shot from close range was enough to make it 4-1.
