Hodgson leaves Liverpool

Under fire Liverpool coach Hodgson has left the club by mutual consent.

Kenny Dalglish has been put in charge until the end of the season.

Liverpool have fallen to 12^th place in the Premier League and have already lost nine matches this season.

The first match Dalglish will be in charge of is the FA Cup third-round match against Manchester United on Sunday.
