Milan held by Lecce

Milan were held by bottom dwelling side Lecce 1-1.

On paper it was a match that Milan should have won easily, but relegation threatened Lecce took the match seriously and fought back to deny Milan the win.

Ibrahimovic put Milan ahead on the 49th  minute, but Lecce fought back and the effort paid off as they scored the equaliser to deny Milan the victory on the 37th  minute. The Lecce goal arrived thanks to Ruben Olivera.

Milan remain at the top of the Serie A table with 41 points, but losing four points in the last two matches must be a worry for them. Defending champions Inter who have two games in hand, must be dreaming of the Scudetto now.

If maximum points are gained by Inter in the two extra matches, the Scudetto race will surely be blown wide open as Loenardo's Inter will only be three points behind Milan.
