Following a number of weeks, Senglea are no longer at the bottom of the table as they secured a comfortable 4-0 win over Qormi.
Senglea forged ahead on the 13th minute. Leighton Grech’s cross was met by Augusto Rene Caserers who headed the ball home.
Imanol Gonzalez doubled Senglea’s advantage on the 72nd minute. From a free-kick, the ball was delivered towards the Argentine whose effort gave Jamie Azzopardi no chance.
Vincenzo Potenza’s side sealed the issue on the 82nd minute. Matias Nicolas Garcia drilled a low shot that ended up past Azzopardi.
Senglea scored again on the 87th minute. Romulo Silva Santos went through on goal and placed the ball inside the net.
This win means a lot for Senglea as they are now ahead of Qormi and just three points below Pieta` Hotspurs.
