Valletta remain unbeaten

Floriana are still in a fight with Birkirkara for second place in the standings. Floriana will clash with Birkirkara next Friday in what will be a battle for second place and a place in the UEFA Europa League.

On the 20^th minute, off a Christian Cassar corner, Tyrone Farrugia headed the ball past goalkeeper Andrew Hogg to give Floriana the lead.

Valletta’s Gilbert Agius scored the equaliser on the 35^th minute to make the score 1-1. Agius’ perfect shot left Floriana goalkeeper Matthew Towns with no chance.

The match ended with a final score of 1-1, leaving Valletta unbeaten and Floriana hanging on to second spot.
