Birkirkara put two past Marsaxlokk

Birkirkara did not waste anytime as they went in front as early as the 6^th minute.

Emiliano Lattes showed some great skill as he dribbled past a Marsaxlokk defender to release a fine shot from just outside the area to beat goalkeeper Reuben Gauci.

Just seven minutes later, Michael Galea made it 2-0 for Birkirkara after his powerful shot beat the Marsaxlokk goalkeeper.

In the second half, Marsaxlokk piled on the pressure, but Birkirkara remained calm and defended their two goal lead to end the match with maximum points.
