Valletta places bid for Amoruso

Maltese Premiership League champions Valletta F.C have placed an offer for 36 year-old Italian striker Nicola Amoruso.

Valletta F.C. President Victor Sciriha has confirmed with MaltaToday that the club is currently in negotiations with Amoruso’s agents ahowever, he stressed that 2so far nothing has been concluded.”

Amoruso, who currently plays for Italian Serie B side Atalanta is expected to terminate his contract at the end of this current season.

In comments to MaltaToday, Sciriha said that Valletta F.C is interested in engaging Nicola Amoruso for the forthcoming Champions League preliminaries.
