Charles Camilleri voted driver of the month

During these two months a total of 6 programmes were held during which Camilleri drove 37 times registering 7 victories and placing in 13 races. During the last programme for February he even managed to win 3 races.

42-year old Charles Camilleri was awarded this honour during April of last year. With over 3500 races in the sulky and nearly 500 victories, Camilleri was also champion driver 4 times during the seasons 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2009.  In the past four seasons he always finished in second place but he is currently leading the champion driver classification.

Apart from being presented with a commemorative plaque, Charles Camilleri received a bottle of Johnnie Walker Red Label thanks to the sponsors M.Demajo (Wines & Spirits) Ltd and their Marketing Manager Mr Alfred Braddick.
