Ukrainian-Maltese winning partnership strengthened

The successful partnership of Ukrainian powerboat racing team owner Victor Shemchuk and Maltese boat builder—driver Aaron Ciantar strengthened their affiliation by agreeing to extend their team association by another year.

This winning team tasted glory in season 2009, their first P1 Championship challenge, where with ‘Seagull Chaudron’, a 13-metre boat with twin 525 hp inboard enginesthey won the SuperSport Class Championship. In season 2010 Mr. Shemchuk ordered another Chaudron built 13-metre powerboat however this time having twin inboard 750 hp engines and moved over to the Evolution Class.

The project was ‘Ukrainian Spirit’ where Victor Shemchuk, as navigator, and Aaron Ciantar as driver, had quite an interesting but mixed fortune season. Today, backed with experience, team ‘Ukrainian Spirit’ plan to venture outside the Mediterranean and Europe to test their driving ability and powerful machine in super boat racing in America.
