Relocation agreement signed as government hand over land to ASMK
The government has fulfilled another electoral promise that of the devolution of land for the specific use by one of Malta’s most popular motor sports association, namely the ASM – Assocjazzjoni Sport Muturi recently renamed as ASMK Assocjazzjoni Sport Muturi u Karozzi.
Parliamentary Secretary Clyde Puli said that this agreement is an important milestone reached by the government whereby it is handing the devolution of land to the ASMK which will eventually be committed to convert the area into a new motor sport facility for off road enthusiasts.
Presiding over the agreement ceremony between the KMS and the ASMK, Mr Puli underlined that over the past legislature the government handed no less than 129 locations with face value of about €47 million which were given to 115 associations. The ASM will be also given a financial package of €350,000 as part of this agreement to implement the upgrade of the project.
Present also for the agreement was Minister Jason Azzopardi. The agreement was signed by the Kunsill Malti ghall-iSport Bernard Vassallo and the President of the ASMK Frans Deguara and Johann Pace as General Secretary.
