ASMK Enduro at Torri Falka on Sunday 3 March

This is the first race of its kind to be organised by ASMK outside the gates of the Ta Qali race circuits. Thanks to Mepa and other entities all permits have been granted.
 
The last Enduro organised by ASMK was held at Ta Qali Race Circuits on the 8th Dec. 2012. Due to the high response by quite a number of bikers the Association Officers applied for the necessary permits to organise this next event in its natural and ideal Enduro terrain and habitat. Obviously there are limits and directives that have to be observed and respected as is usual practice.
 
This ‘Torri Falka’ quarry is at Zebbieh l/o Mgarr. Building material is dumped in this site under strict Environment conditions. Yet, it’s an ideal place for the Moto and Quad bike Enduro race.
 
This site offers challenging natural dirt track obstacles en route where the riders have to exhibit their skills against time to challenge the curves, up and down dirt slopes, ride through water pools and other natural obstacles over about a 2 Km track.
 
This ASMK event is being held with kind permission and thanks to Hardrocks Ltd. This Enduro race has also attracted a number of sponsors such as Dunlop tyres, KTM bikes, Gordon’s Moto Centre, Torco lubricants and Autologic Performance Centre.
 
Enduro Registrations on site start at 9.00am next Sunday 3rd March and first race start is scheduled at 10.00am. Enduro, Motocross, Trials and quadbike riders are expected to participate in different classes. All other facilities and services will be found on location and spectators are welcome.
 
This event is expected to last about 4 hours. The winners will be presented with trophies and other prizes on site.
