Ralph Decelis and Blanche Coppola are the new IFBB Mixed Pairs European champions
Ralph Decelis and Blanche Coppola are the newly crowned 2011 IFBB Mixed Pairs European champions.
The 2011 European Championships were held in Sofia, Bulgaria on May 20-23 2011.
Over 200 athletes from 35 countries took part in the IFBB European Championships.
Ralph Decelis had just won the overall championships in Malta and as well the Mixed Pairs category with Blanche Coppola. He also placed first in his class and second overall at the IFBB Oslo Grand Prix in Norway.
This is Decelis’ and Coppola’s most successful year in their bodybuilding careers.
IFBB-Malta sent a team of six bodybuilders to represent Malta at the 2011 IFBB European Championships.

Ralph Decelis placed 6th in his class beating out a number of top class bodybuilders from all over Europe to finish in the top six.
The highlight of the weekend for the Maltese athletes and a great honour for Malta was Ralph Decelis and Blanche Coppola placing first in the Mixed Pairs category.
Winning a class in the IFBB European Championships is a great honour as it is one of the most prestigious honours to have in bodybuilding.
Surely we will see more of Blanche and Ralph in the coming years as they look to defend their Mixed Pairs title.
The next big event for the Maltese athletes will be the 2011 IFBB Mediterranean Championships that are being held in Malta at the Cottonera Sports complex in October 2011.
