FIBA Europe U/16 European Championships Women Division C
The under 16 Women Maltese National team will be in Andorra between the 25th and 30th July for the FIBA Europe European Championships Division C.
The preparations for this tournament started months ago however the training got harder in the last days under the guidance of Maltese National coach Sandro Farrugia. Various training camps were organized as part of the training for this competition.
In this championship Malta will be playing in Group A together with Wales and organizers Andorra. Cyprus, Monaco and Gibraltar will be competing in Group B. Malta will start with the first game on Monday against hosts Andorra. The following players have been called by National Coach Sandro Farrugia:

Malta’s second game will be played on Tuesday against Wales. Thursday and Friday the qualifying games will be played with the finals scheduled for Saturday 30th July. The Maltese contingent will be accompanied by MBA General Secretary Mr. Joseph Muscat.
