Table tennis: World Junior Circuit

Between the 4th and 7th April 2013, a World Junior Circuit event, will be held at Cottonera Sports Complex Cottonera.

This prestigious table tennis event forms part of the International Table Tennis Federation calendar, the authority for this sport.

Malta will be 'fielding' many young players in this event which has been organised by the Malta Table Tennis Association (MTTA).

Newly elected President of the MTTA, Mr. Paul Dawson commented on the WJC as not only an event that promotes Table Tennis but that of promoting Malta as Tourist destination also.

We are proud to welcome a vast majority of counties mainly from Europe consisting of: Sweden, Denmark, England, Wales, Scotland, CzechRepublic, Belarus, Brazil, Slovakia, Malta. Greece, Israel ,Norway,Poland and Qatar.

Matches will start at approximately 8.30am on each day going through to late afternoon and evening. Spectators are welcome.

The presentation Ceremony will take place on the afternoon/evening of 7th April and medals will be awarded by the Parliamentary Secretary for sport.
