New KMS board announced

Jonathan Barbara has been appointed as the new chairman of the Malta Sports Council (KMS) the government announced this evening.

Other board members include Dunstan Attard, Alfred Cachia, Christopher Cocker, Nicolai Gauci, Keith Bartolo and two elected members.

Parliamentary secretary for sports Stefan Buontempo pledged the government's full support to strengthen the sports culture.

The board has a mandate of three years.
