IFBB-MALTA National Bodybuilding Championships

IFBB (Malta) will be organising the 2011 national bodybuilding championships on Saturday 23^rd April at 6.30pm for the first time at the Cottonera Sports Complex.

22 competitors have submitted their applications and apart from the traditional weight classes starting from 70 and going up to 100 kg there will be various categories. Among these there will be the ladies physique class where for the first time 3 ladies will battle it out for the title, novices, juniors ,masters & mixed pairs.

At the end of the show the overall category will be held and the winner & runner-up will represent Malta in the IFBB European Championships to be held in Sofia, Bulgaria between the 20^th and 23^rd May. Other awards such as the IFBB Hall of Fame and Appreciation Award will be given out.

For the national championships we will be honoured by the presence of Dr. Adel Fahim El Sayed who is the executive assistant to IFBB President Dr. Rafael Santonja. He holds the roles of Egyptian and African President as well.
