Armstrong implicated by another teammate

Lance Armstrong has been linked to systematic doping charges once again, according to a report in the New York Times.

In an interview with the New York Times, a teammate of Armstrong's (who does not want to be revealed) said the seven-time Tour de France champion knew of drug use amongst the United States Postal Service team and encouraged it.

The cyclist made these revelations to federal authorities currently undergoing a criminal investigation of Armstrong for possible fraud and doping charges.

Back in May, Floyd Landis alleged Armstrong of doping, though those claims were vehemently denied by the cancer survivor. Landis was stripped of his 2006 Tour de France title in the wake of a positive test for performance-enhancing drugs.

Three-time Tour de France champion Greg LeMond, an outspoken Armstrong critic, was also reportedly served with a grand jury subpoena to provide documents and testimony to the four cycling teams Armstrong has led on the Tour de France since his return from cancer - U.S. Postal Service, Discovery Channel, Astana and Radio Shack.
