Keith Galea for Sicily and Glasgow Races
Newly crowned Malta Duathlon and Triathlon Champion Keith Galea will be participating in two triathlon races later on this month.
Galea's first international commitment is on Sunday 18th May where he will be on the starting line of the Avola Sprint Triathlon in Sicily. The race is organised by the Mediterranean Triathlon Federation in collaboration with the Italian Triathlon Federation. The race is the First one of a series organised by the Mediterranean federation and is also part of the Sicily Ranking.
A couple of days after this race Galea will fly to Glasgow to participate in the Commonwealth Games Test Race on the 24th May. This race is an Olympic Standard Distance Race and is organised by the Glasgow 2014 organising committee and is going to be held in Strathclyde Country Park.
Galea is looking for very good performance and wants to test himself among the professional athletes who will be taking part in these races. Coached by ten times Malta Triathlon Champion, Dermot Galea, Keith is currently going through a hard training regime in preparation for the Commonwealth Games in July
