Gilbert Cuschieri joins IFBB-MALTA

Gilbert Cuschieri has joined IFBB-MALTA (International Federation of BodyBuilders) from NABBA (National Amateur Body-Builders´ Association).
 

Cuschieri has had a very successful run with the NABBA organisation winning the local overall title on a number of occasions and has done very well at the NABBA Mr. Universe and Mr. World competitions.

Joining IFBB-MALTA will be a new challenge for Cushieri as he has already started preparations for the 27th IFBB Mediterranean bodybuilding championships that are to be held between the 18th and 21st November 2011 at the Cottonera Sports Complex.

The Maltese contingent for the Mediterranean championships will be very strong next year. Cuschieri will be joining forces with a number of local bodybuilders including one of IFBB-MALTA’s top bodybuilders Ralph Decelis.

Decelis has won Malta’s overall national championship in 2005, 2006, 2008 and 2009 and has represented Malta on a number of occasions on the international bodybuilding scene.
