Exiles and Marsascala faced off to determine who would be the team to take the fifth position in the First Division Championship. Marsascala started well and managed to shade the first session 4-3 largely through the Koralji brothers’ goals. Exiles replied through the Rizzo Naudi brothers and in the second session a 1-1 draw saw Marsascala retain their slender one goal advantage.
However Exiles ran riot in the third sessions, smashing no less than nine goals without reply with Cuk and Karl Rizzo Naudi leading the charge. The final session was another one sided affair with Exiles winning 5-2 for a final score of 18-7 and confirmation of 5th place in the First Division standings.
