Neptunes who proceed to the final with ease
In the first match yesterday evening, Neptunes Emirates simply eased through the final of the First Division Knockout against Sirens Ritter Sport who offered precious little opposition.
In fact, the first session was a runaway victory for Neptunes who won 6-1 practically ending the tie which was already a dead rubber anyway. The second session also saw Neptunes prevail 4-3 so at mid way the Balluta boys were already six goals ahead.
The third session saw Sirens regain some pride when they won 4-2 as Neptunes coach Markoc rested his key players. The final session saw Neptunes prevail 5-3 for a final score of 15-11 with Niki Lanzon netting four goals and Dino Zammit scoring three times alongside Steve Camilleri who also managed a hat trick. Neptunes now play 3CX Exiles for the First Division Knockout title on Saturday.
