(5-1), (4-5), (4-1), (5-4)
San Giljan kept up the pace with rivals Sliema and Neptunes with a somewhat hard fought victory over a plucky Marsascala side. After leading 5-1 at the end of the first session, San Giljan slackened slightly and lost the second session 4-5 with Koralji and Botond in evidence for the Skalin. The Saints had Toth and Aquilina in top scoring form netting seven goals between them.
In the third session, San Giljan again regained their composure winning 4-1 with Toth and Gialanze on the scoresheet. The final session finished with San Giljan winning 5-4 with Toth netting a total of eight goals and a good 18-11 victory for the Saints who made it three out of three.

Neptunes Emirates 20 Ta’ Xbiex Mermaids Paradise 2
(8-0), (3-0), (5-2), (4-0)
In an utterly one sided encounter from the start, Neptunes thrashed a rather weak and ineffectual Ta’ Xbiex side with their players scoring at will. In fact the first two sessions ended 8-0 and 3-0 with Ta’ Xbiex failing to score until the third session. Steve and Jordan Camilleri racked up seven goals between them as coach Sergei Mrakoc chose to rest Molnar and Gornagy for most of the game.
The third session saw Ta’ Xbiex score their first goals but it still went Neptunes way 5-2 with the final session ending 4-0 also in Neptunes favour for an overwhelming final score of 20-2.

In a hotly contested and well fought match, at least in the first two sessions neighbours Exiles and Sliema produced an entertaining feast of waterpolo. The first session saw Exiles take a 3-0 lead with Sliema coming back in the second session to prevail 5-4 although Exiles still carried a two goal lead into the change of ends with Bonca and Cousin proving particularly effective.
However Sliema came roaring back in the third session winning 7-1 and going 12-8 up for the final session. Kunac and Rath were particularly effective here with both notching up three goals. This stunning comeback was further extended in the final session which saw Sliema increasing their advantage for a final score of 17-10.
