Germany shoot into semi finals with a 4-0 rout of Argentina
Germany have put Argentina to the sword in one of the most one sided World Cup quarter finals in recent history.
The game started off brilliantly for Germany when Thomas Mueller gave them the lead on 3 minutes.
Argentina tried to get back in the game but Germany always looked crisper and more lethal in attack.
In fact the second goal came on 64 minutes when Miroslav Klose snapped up a defensive error to conclude easily.
Defender Arne Friedrich made it three on 74 minutes after receiving from Schweinsteiger. And the rout was completed on 89 minutes when Klose again concluded to propel Germany into the semi finals and send Argentina home.
