Cultural Events Brand (CEB) Malta kicked off its string of cultural events promoting buskers and street performers, at its launch entitled “Electrifying Elmo” held on 5 September at Fort St. Elmo, to huge success.
The launch included performances from a number of Maltese and foreign street artists, including fire dancing, acoustic sessions, and a performance from Australian Tony Roberts, a world-class street escapologist and member of the prestigious London Magic Circle.
Airport Impressions headlined the musical entertainment, whilst busking sessions by Indie band No Snow No Alps, accordionist Brian Tonna, harpist Michelle Paris, guitar duo Este Mundo and many more kept the musical vibes going throughout the night.
“I would like to thank all who attended and supported us for our first event,” said Kevin Naudi, CEB Malta organizer.
“Our aim is to organize regular events promoting the busking scene and performing arts, as well as showcasing Malta’s unique spots which remain unused. We are sincerely grateful to our team: Karl Borg, James Caterers, Vegware, Eva Garden for make up along with all our other sponsors, and our fantastic team of artists and performers, who made this event possible,” added Naudi.
