Alberta Group names Jason Vella Chief Operations Officer

In his role as COO, Ing. Vella will be responsible for the alignment and prioritization required to ensure greater operational excellence across the company. He will be working closely with the Directors on the strategic development of the companies within the Group while also spearheading the Group's overall operations.

Ing. Vella held various senior management roles with GO plc (formerly Maltacom plc) and its subsidiaries over a period of thirteen years, including the position of Operations Director with Telepage Ltd., Snr. Client Account Manager and Customer Care Manager with Datastream Ltd, followed by the most recent position for four years as Senior Manager Customer Service Support within GO's technical department.

A qualified Electrical Engineer by profession, Ing. Vella holds a Bachelors of Engineering (Electrical) with Honours from the University of Malta and a Masters of Science degree in Customer Service Management from University of Leicester.
