Hospitality handbook launched by MAHE

The Malta Association of Hospitality Executives (MAHE) yesterday presented a position paper to tourism minister Edward Zammit Lewis, in which the sector’s professionals put forward a number of proposals aimed at improving the industry.

In the meeting attended by MAHE president Joe Attard and deputy-president Chris J. Camilleri, the association also presented the minister with a handbook ‘The Art of Waiting, A handbook of Do’s and Don’ts when serving diners,’ intended for servers in the industry.

Zammit Lewis welcomed the initiative and said “everyone employed in the sector should be proud of being part of an industry which contributes up to 29% of GDP.”
