Polidano legal counsel appointed MonteKristo CEO

MonteKristo Estates Limited, operators of the MonteKristo Estate in Luqa, has announced the appointment of advocate Jean Paul Sammut as its Chief Executive Officer.

The company is fully owned by the Polidano Group.

In his career Sammut occupied various top management posts with leading companies in Malta. Sammut joined the Polidano Group in 2010, where he worked closely with founder Charles Polidano both in operations and also in the group’s legal matters.

While maintaining his present role with the Polidano Group, Sammut will also be leading the MonteKristo Estate team, aiming to increase the company’s momentum. Sammut will be assisted by Martha Micallef, who was appointed as General Manager in November 2014.

“The immediate future is an exciting time for Montekristo Estate, as the company is in the process of opening the venues to leading caterers collaborating with MonteKristo Estates, where potential clients can make use of their preferred caterer when choosing their venue for an event,” the company said. “MonteKristo will still continue to offer its catering services to its valued clients.”

Sammut will also be managing Empire Cinemas and Water’s Edge guesthouse, owned by Polidano Group.
