Charity challenges invites athletes to run for Inspire
Runners will be invited to make use of MYRUN treadmills on the Sliema front to generate more donations
MYRUN Technogym shall be hosting a charity challenge this weekend, 20 – 21 June at the Sliema Seafront opposite the Preluna Hotel between 10:00 – 13:00 and 16:00 – 22:00 in aid of the Inspire Foundation Malta.
This event shall also mark the launch of the MYRUN Technogym treadmill – a state-of-the-art treadmill designed by runners for runners. The treadmill represents a new personalised solution for running, offering unprecedented levels of data and feedback about the user’s running technique, personalised programmes and full integration with tablets thanks to the MYRUN training app.
“We are encouraging the public to run for a good cause – with a small difference. We are setting up treadmills on the Sliema promenade and challenging runners to go that extra mile and generate more donations,” explained Stefano Borg, Wellness Manager at Vivendo Group.
“Technogym will be donating to the Inspire Foundation based on the distance reached by each individual runner on our treadmills”
In addition, a number of politicians and local personalities shall be participating in the MYRUN Technogym Charity Challenge.
“We are excited to be joining forces with several runners from across the island for this good cause. We shall also be offering all participants a selection of healthy drinks in order to ensure everyone’s suitably hydrated – we look forward to welcoming you this weekend,” Borg concluded.
