30,000 people visit il-Fiera l-Kbira in four days
Over 230 exhibitors are participating in the fair
Over 30,000 people visited the Fiera l-Kbira, being held at MonteKristo Estate in its first four days. The second edition of the fair, which was officially inaugurated by the President last Thursday at 7pm, brings together over 230 exhibitors all offering various special offers reserved for Fiera l-Kbira.
This success is also owed to a new traffic management system being implemented on site. Following feedback gathered last year, the Fiera l-Kbira management team has engaged the services of a traffic consultant who, together with the Police and Wardens drastically reduced waiting time to access the fair parking areas. The general public can also reach MonteKristo Estate by using a free bus service leaving practically all localities at 5pm.
Those travelling from Gozo are also given complimentary access to Fiera l-Kbira on presentation of the ferry ticket.
In the meantime, various winners have been announced. Eight lucky Fiera l-Kbira visitors will be enjoying a free Air Malta flight, taxes included, to a top European destination thanks to Britannia Tours, who are given away two free flights a day.
The fair ticket also allows visitors to participate in a lottery with a Citroen C4 Cactus as a prize thanks to an exclusive agreement between Fiera l-Kbira and Michael Attard Ltd. The multi-award winning car can be viewed on the Fiera l-Kbira grounds.
Fiera l-Kbira opens at 6pm every day till Sunday 19 July.
