APS Bank’s new banking system goes live

APS Bank has been working on its new banking system since 2014

APS Bank's new banking system went live as previously announced on 4 July 2016.

The outcome of a long and meticulously-planned project which started in 2014, the new system will pave the way for improvements to the range of products, services and channels which the Bank offers to its customers.

Head of I.T. and Project Manager Jonathan Caruana said: “The Bank has now implemented a robust and high quality technology platform that will enable more efficient delivery of new products and services to customers, including an improved internet banking service, enhanced internal controls and more streamlined compliance and regulatory reporting.”

The Management went on to thank its customers for their cooperation during the changeover weekend (1-3 July) where certain services and channels had to be limited because of the implementation procedures.

The Management also expressed its appreciation to all staff members who pulled together around this project especially in recent months, in particular the Core Banking Project Team and staff in I.T. and branches for their dedication and commitment in bringing such a huge and complex task to it successful execution, on time and on budget.
