The new agency agreement for Mariner Shipping, an offshoot of Hili Company, forms part of the group's growth startegy
Malta-based shipping agency, Mariner Shipping, part of Hili Company, has just been appointed as the exclusive United Feeder Service agent in Malta.
The announcement forms part of the group’s ambitious growth plans. Mariner Shipping is primarily a ship agency, freight forwarding, warehousing, distribution, ship brokering, and customs clearance outfit.
The new shipping agency aims towards following global dynamics and engaging in improved technology to meet the growing demand in enterprise and customer efficiency.
Managing Director Karl Naudi emphasised that Mariner Shipping will ensure that customers are provided with the highest quality of service, excellence and reliability.
“In our set up we pride ourselves on having some of the most experienced and professional individuals in the industry which complement our team, thus ensuring that we offer the highest level of professionalism and services to our customers. Our roadmap also focuses on satisfying ‘on-demand’ customer requirements via improved technology,” Naudi said.
Mariner Shipping is the shipping arm of Hili Company that carries on the legacy that started over 95 years ago. Mariner Shipping is also a local partner of Agility, a leading logistics company.
Hili Company, a group chaired by Marin Hili, maintains a strategic focus on the maritime and logistics industries. In parallel, it has built a portfolio of businesses in real estate, renewable energy and finance.
As an investor, developer, and independent operator of sea terminals, Mariner has made major investments in its container terminals – Baltic Container Terminal in Riga, Latvia, and Terminal Intermodale Venezia in Venice, Italy. The terminals act as vital gatekeepers to logistics networks on which international, regional and local economies depend.
