Woman, 68, in critical condition after fall

A woman, 68, sustained life-threatening injuries in what so far appears to be an accidental fall at her home in the early hours of this morning.

The incident occurred at about 2 a.m., in Triq il-Blata l-Kahla, Santa Venera. The victim was found lying on a flight of steps by her family

Further investigations are underway and experts have been appointed to assist with a magisterial inquiry.
