Woman in critical condition after fall

The Danish national was injured when she and her husband fell while he was carrying her

A Danish woman is in danger of losing her life after an incident in St Paul's Bay.

At about 8:45pm, police were informed that a person was injured in Triq il-Qawra. It appears that the woman, 44, was being carried by her husband, also 44, when they both fell. He requested assistance when it became clear his wife was injured.

An amublance conveyed the woman to Mater Dei.

A magisterial inquiry is under way.
