Woman, 37, and two children, 9 and 5, receiving medical attention after they were involved in a traffic accident in Mgarr

A woman and two children have been hospitalised after they were involved in a head on collision at around 13:55 in Triq Sir Temi Zammit in Mgarr.
Preliminary investigations show that the accident involved two cars; a Mercedes Benz being driven by the victim towards Mosta, and a Land Rover being driven by a 71 year-old man from Mgarr, driving to Mgarr.
The woman, a 37-year-old Mosta resident, and the children; a nine-year-old girl and a five-year-old boy, were taken straight to Mater Dei in an ambulance, where they are being given the necessary medical attention.
The road is currently blocked to traffic, until their medical condition is ascertained.
Mosta Police and members of the Traffic department are currently on the scene.
