Man, horse injured in Birkirkara collision

A 42-year-old man from Naxxar and his horse were injured in collision between a car and a sulky in Birkirkara this morning.

The man was riding his sulky when it was hit by a Toyota Yaris driven by a 28-year-old woman from Mosta. The man was conveyed to Mater Dei Hospital, where he was certified to be suffering from slight injuries. The horse was only slightly injured.

Both the car and the horse harness were heading towards Lija. The incident occurred at about 6am in Triq Dun Karm Psaila, Birkirkara.
