Two teenagers injured after handling fireworks

Two 13-year-old Gozitan boys suffered injuries after they handled fireworks at a field in Munxar, Gozo at around 3pm.

In a brief statement, the police said that the two boys were rushed to the Gozo General Hospital for treatment. One of them suffered grievous injuries and the other was slightly injured.

Victoria district police are investigating, and a magisterial inquiry is ongoing.
