Woman, 41, in critical condition after traffic accident

A 41-year-old Eritrean woman is in critical condition after she was struck by a car.
The incident occurred at 6:50am this morning, in Triq il-Qawra, St Paul’s Bay. The woman, resident in Birzebbuga, was struck by a Peugeot Partner, driven by a 66-year-old Hamrun resident.
The victim was conveyed to Mater Dei for treatment.
Police investigations are ongoing.
