65-year-old suffers injuries in Zebbug accident

A 65-year-old woman from Hamrun suffered critically injuries after she was hit by a car in Triq l-Imdina, Haz-Zebbug.

In a statement, the police said that the man behind the wheel of the vehicle in question qas a 35-year-old man from Mtarfa.

The woman was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment where   she was certified as being in danger of death.

A magisterial inquiry has been launched and police investigations
