Worker injured in fall

The incident happened inside a factory within the San Gwann Industrial Estate, when the workman - a 41 year-old man from Zabbar - was completing some construction work.

He reportedly fell a height of two metres and sustained serious injuries.

The man was rushed to hospital by ambulance and was certified not to be in danger of dyining.

An inquiry by the Health & Safety Authority is underway.
