Health warning against ‘Cumberland Sausage’
The Department for Environmental Health informs that the product ‘Cumberland Sausage’ of Country Park Foods should not be consumed.
In a warning issued by the Ministry of Health, the Cumberland Sausage is not to be consumed because of the presence of a colour, ‘E128’ also known as ‘Red 2G’.
According to Regulation (EC) No, 884 of 2007, the colour is illegal.
