A 4.6 magnitude tremor has been registered off Malta by the US Geological Survey (USGS) / National Earthquake Information.

The quake was registered at 14:00 local time (15:00 UTC) at approximately 133 km to the West of Valletta, Malta, and 149 km to the South West of Agrigento in Sicily.
The epicentre was located at a position 36.041°N, 13.043°E at a depth of 19.2 km.
