Nationalist MP measures poverty with travelling

According to Nationalist MP Joe Falzon poverty in Malta is measured by the ability to travel abroad on holiday.

While speaking on One Radio yesterday morning, Falzon was refuted claims of rising poverty in Malta and said that some people who cannot afford to travel as they did in the past claim to be poor.

Falzon's declarations caused a stir among the radio's listeners and  number of them called in to express their disagreement and share their personal experiences.
