Jesmond Mugliett questions feasibility of Malta-Gozo tunnel

Former transport minister Jesmond Mugliett expressed his concern about the proposed tunnel between Malta and Gozo.

The Nationalist MP is concerned about the huge discrepancy in the figures quoted which run into millions of euros. He called on the government to address the country's priorities before looking at the construction of a tunnel between the two islands.

Mugliett said "The press conference about the tunnel raised more questions than answers."

He asked what will happen of the Cirkewwa terminal which is currently under construction and the Gozo Channel ferry boats.
