Sunday newspaper Illum reports that Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi has received more support to hold elections in October, as it would be better for the Nationalist Party.
Reportedly, Gonzi's advisers are saying that it's going to be the difficult to induce a feel-good factor in the electoral campaigns, with another economic recession looming on the horizon.
Illum also reports that the Prime Minister has in hand a list of all things that are irritating the Maltese, and that these could be solved if early elections are held.
